I used to work at a grocery store and had to deal with a lot of unruly customers. I also suffer from social anxiety, so it stressed me out a ton. My last straw was when a rude customer came in and started bad mouthing me, calling me names etc. It was rough. I quit and never looked back. That’s when I started doing freelance work online and am to this day. Though the money kind of sucks, it’s better than having the stress break me every day.

Well, I guess everyone has their own different breaking point. For me, it was when my boss wouldn’t stop saying I was just getting a salary for nothing and that I’m not productive enough to be paid every month. This is a place I work my head off, spend long extra hours and going on an empty stomach to finish my task so I’m not the reason for any hold-up. It was hurting and so I decided that I was done with working as an employee. I later realized that he did that just to get people on their toes to do more. But I was way past that and already got something nice doing online.

For me, I didn’t really have a reason WHY! I just grew up in a family where my siblings were always on their gadgets doing one thing or the other and when I was of age, I was handed a laptop and that’s it. Here we are making money off the Internet and planning travels like we don’t mind. Lol. The life is good I must tell you.
